TUTORING AT BUS STOP FILMS
Bus Stop Films is a pioneering, charitable organisation based in Sydney, dedicated to providing people from marginalised communities, the opportunity to learn about and be involved in professional film making.
Bus Stop’s mission is to create an inclusive film and television industry that sees those of all abilities and backgrounds contributing to Australia’s creative and economic landscape. Creating opportunities and bonds where there were none before builds a stronger and healthier industry, rich in innovation and culture.
Sophie began tutoring a class of students with intellectual disabilities in stop motion animation filmmaking at the beginning of this year. The highlight so far has been creating their short film 'One Giant Leap' commissioned by VIVID! The class is currently working on a documentary paper animation.
